The short version

Prices shown on this site are starting prices for a clean-condition sedan. Your final price is confirmed after we see the vehicle. Booking and payment happen on Square, under Square's terms.

We stand behind the coating we apply and the workmanship behind it. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, for conditions we disclose to you before starting, or for losses beyond what you paid us for the job.

These terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of mysuncoastceramic.com and the ceramic coating, paint correction and detailing services provided by Suncoast Ceramic of Port Charlotte, Florida (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using this site, requesting a quote, or booking a service, you agree to them.

These terms sit alongside our Privacy Policy. If we give you a written estimate, work order or warranty document for a specific job, the terms on that document control where they differ from this page.

You must be at least 18 and be the owner of the vehicle, or authorised by the owner to have work done on it.

What we do

We provide professional nano-ceramic coating, machine paint correction, decontamination and full-detail services for cars, trucks, SUVs, RVs and boats. Work is performed at our Port Charlotte shop or, for mobile bookings, at your location within our service area — roughly Cape Coral to St. Petersburg.

Ceramic coating is a protective finish. It substantially improves gloss, chemical resistance, water behaviour and ease of cleaning. It is not body armour: it does not make paint scratch-proof, dent-proof or immune to rock chips, and it does not remove defects that were not corrected before coating.

Quotes and pricing

Every price shown on this website is a starting price for a clean-condition sedan and is an estimate, not a fixed quote. Final pricing depends on vehicle size, paint condition, the level of correction required, and the scope you choose.

  • We confirm the final price with you before any work begins.
  • If we find something during prep that changes the scope — heavy oxidation, failing clearcoat, prior body work, aftermarket paint — we stop, tell you, and get your approval before continuing.
  • Quotes are valid for [valid-for period — confirm] unless we say otherwise in writing.
  • Prices are exclusive of applicable Florida sales tax unless stated.

Booking and payment

All scheduling and payment for our services is handled by Square on Square's hosted booking site (book.squareup.com). When you click through from this site you leave mysuncoastceramic.com and your booking is completed on Square's platform, subject to Square's terms of service and privacy policy.

  • A booking is confirmed when Square confirms it, not when you submit the request.
  • A deposit of [deposit amount / policy — confirm] may be required to hold a slot; where taken it is applied to the final invoice.
  • The balance is due on completion, before the vehicle leaves our care or before we leave your location.
  • We do not accept card details by phone, email or text, and will never ask for them that way.

We are not responsible for outages, errors or delays on Square's platform. If a booking does not go through, call us on 941·586·0619 and we will sort it out directly.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Plans change and we would rather you tell us than not show up. Please give us at least [notice period — confirm] notice to cancel or reschedule, using the link in your Square confirmation or by calling the shop.

  • Cancellations with adequate notice: any deposit is refunded or moved to your new date.
  • Late cancellations and no-shows: we may retain the deposit to cover the reserved bay time.
  • Weather. Coating requires controlled conditions. For mobile bookings we may reschedule for rain, high wind, dust or extreme heat — at no cost to you. Safety and cure quality come first.
  • If we ever have to cancel on you, you get a full refund of anything paid toward that appointment, or first choice of a new date.

Your vehicle

So we can do the job properly and safely, you agree that:

  • You own the vehicle or are authorised to commission work on it.
  • You have told us about known issues — repainted or wrapped panels, prior body work, failing clearcoat, leaks, electrical faults, aftermarket parts, or anything else that changes how we should treat the finish.
  • You have removed personal belongings, valuables and anything of sentimental value. We are not responsible for items left in a vehicle.
  • Where the job needs it, you have left us keys and access, and the vehicle is legally parked and safe to work on.

We inspect and document vehicle condition before starting. If we find damage or a defect that a coating would lock in or make worse, we will tell you and give you the choice: correct it first, proceed knowingly, or stop.

Mobile service

For work at your location, you agree to provide:

  • Safe, legal, level parking with room to work around the whole vehicle and set up a canopy.
  • Permission to perform the work there — from your HOA, landlord, employer or property manager as applicable.
  • A surface where runoff is acceptable and drainage is appropriate.

You do not need to supply water, power or shade — our rig carries its own. If we arrive and the location is unworkable or unsafe, we will try to find a solution with you; if we cannot, the visit is treated as a late cancellation.

Warranty

Coating packages are sold with 3-year, 6-year or 10-year durability terms. The applicable term, and exactly what it covers, is stated on your work order and any manufacturer warranty documentation supplied with your job. In summary:

Covered

  • Premature failure of the coating itself — delamination, or loss of the protective layer — within the stated term, under normal use.
  • Defects in our workmanship, such as high spots or streaking from application.

Not covered

  • Damage from accidents, collisions, vandalism, hail, flood, fire, road debris, rock chips or acts of nature.
  • Damage from automatic car washes with brushes, abrasive or improper washing, harsh chemicals, or coatings, waxes and sealants applied by others over ours.
  • Pre-existing paint defects, failing or thin clearcoat, and paint that was not fully corrected because you asked us to skip that step.
  • Scratches, swirls, dents, etching or wear caused after we hand the vehicle back.
  • Wraps, respray or panel replacement performed after coating.

Keeping the warranty alive. Coatings need basic upkeep. You are expected to wash the vehicle correctly — pH-neutral soap, two-bucket or touchless method, no brush washes — and to keep any maintenance or inspection schedule listed on your work order. Neglect, abrasive washing or third-party product applied over the coating will void it.

To make a claim, contact us with your work order details and photographs before having any other shop touch the finish. Our obligation under this warranty is limited to re-treating or re-coating the affected area, or refunding the amount paid for the affected service, at our discretion. Warranties are for the original purchaser and are not transferable unless we agree in writing.

Limitation of liability

We carry insurance and we take care of the cars in our hands. Even so, and to the maximum extent permitted by Florida law:

  • Our total liability for any claim arising out of a job — whether in contract, tort, negligence, warranty or otherwise — will not exceed the amount you actually paid us for that job.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of use, loss of value, rental costs, lost time, lost income, or the cost of alternative transport.
  • We are not liable for pre-existing damage, for defects we disclosed to you before starting, for failure of paint or clearcoat that was already compromised, or for damage caused by others after the vehicle leaves our care.
  • We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including weather, supply shortages, illness, utility failure or government action.

Except as expressly stated in the Warranty section, our services are provided without other warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Some states do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you; the rest still stands.

Using this website

The text, photographs, layout, logo and design of this site belong to Suncoast Ceramic. You are welcome to view and share pages; please do not copy the content or imagery for commercial use without our permission.

We work to keep prices, service descriptions and availability accurate, but this site is provided “as is” and may contain errors or out-of-date information. Reviews and results shown are from real customers and real jobs; results vary by vehicle, paint condition and upkeep, and are not a guarantee of the outcome on yours.

Photography

We routinely photograph and film vehicles before, during and after work for our portfolio, this website and our social accounts. Images focus on the vehicle and its finish. We do not publish your name, address or licence plate.

If you would prefer your vehicle not be photographed or posted, just tell us before the job starts and we will not use it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from them or from work we perform will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Charlotte County, Florida, and you and we consent to that venue.

Before anyone files anything, please call us. Nearly everything is fixable with a conversation and, if we got something wrong, we would rather put it right than argue about it.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in force.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always lives on this page with its “last updated” date. The terms that apply to your job are the ones in force on the date you booked it.

Questions about these terms

Call the shop on 941·586·0619 or email Suncoastprotection@gmail.com. If something here is unclear before you book, ask — we would rather explain it up front.
