Who we are

Suncoast Ceramic is a family-run ceramic coating and mobile detailing shop based in Port Charlotte, Florida, serving the Gulf coast from Cape Coral to St. Petersburg. In this policy, “we,” “us” and “our” mean Suncoast Ceramic; “you” means anyone visiting this website or contacting us about our services.

This policy explains what happens to information connected with mysuncoastceramic.com and with the enquiries and bookings that come through it.

What we collect

Nothing is collected automatically by this site

This is a static website. We do not run analytics software, advertising pixels, session recording, heat mapping, remarketing tags, or any other visitor tracking. We do not set cookies. We do not build a profile of you, and we cannot tell who has visited.

What you choose to send us

The only information we receive directly is what you deliberately send when you contact us by email or phone. That typically includes:

• Your name and the contact details you use to reach us (email address, phone number)
• Details about your vehicle — make, model, year, colour, condition and any paint concerns
• The service you are asking about, and where you would like it performed
• Anything else you decide to include in your message

Booking and payment information — handled by Square

When you reserve a slot or pay us, the “Book” and “Get Quote” buttons hand you off to Square's hosted booking site at book.squareup.com. Everything you enter there — your name, contact details, appointment choice and card or payment details — is collected by Square on Square's own systems, under Square's privacy policy and terms.

We never see or store your full card number. Through our Square merchant account we can see what any merchant sees about a booking: your name, your contact details, the service booked, the appointment time, and the amount paid.

Server logs

Like effectively every website, the hosting provider that serves these pages keeps standard technical logs (IP address, timestamp, page requested, browser user-agent) for security and reliability. These are generated by the host, retained briefly on their normal schedule, and are not used by us to identify or profile visitors.

Why we use it

We use the information you send us for one purpose: to do the work you asked about. Specifically, to

• Answer your question and prepare an accurate quote for your vehicle
• Schedule, confirm and carry out the service, at our shop or at your door
• Reach you about that appointment — confirmations, arrival windows, weather changes
• Keep a record of the coating applied to your vehicle, so we can honour the warranty later
• Take payment and keep the business records the law requires us to keep

We do not sell your information. We do not rent, trade or share it with data brokers, advertisers or marketing lists, and we never will. We do not add you to a marketing list without you asking to be on one.

Who else sees it

We share your information only with the small number of services we need in order to run the business, and only with what those services need:

• Square — our booking and payment processor. Square handles all scheduling and card payments on its own hosted pages. Your dealings there are governed by Square's privacy policy.
• Our email provider — messages you send to Suncoastprotection@gmail.com are stored in that mailbox, hosted by Google.
• Our web host — serves these pages and keeps the standard server logs described above.

Fonts. The typefaces on this site are served from our own web host. Your browser does not contact Google, or any other third party, to display them, and no third party receives your IP address for that purpose.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it — for example in response to a valid subpoena or court order, or where necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

Links that leave this site

Our Instagram link, our Google reviews and the Square booking pages are operated by those companies, not by us. Once you follow a link off this website, that company's privacy policy applies, not this one.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies of its own, uses no local storage for tracking, and runs no third-party tracking scripts. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

If you have enabled a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal in your browser, there is nothing here for it to switch off — we were not tracking you to begin with.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails and job records for as long as they are useful to you and to us — principally, for as long as a coating we applied is still under warranty, plus the period we are required to retain business and tax records under Florida and federal law. After that we delete or archive them.

Booking and payment records held by Square are retained on Square's schedule, under Square's policies.

Your rights

Whatever state or country you are in, you can ask us to do the following with the information you have sent us, and we will honour the request:

• Access — ask what we hold about you and get a copy of it
• Correct — have anything inaccurate fixed
• Delete — have your enquiry and contact details erased, except records we are legally required to keep or that are needed to honour an active warranty
• Opt out — tell us to stop contacting you at any time
• Object — raise a concern about how we have handled your information

Email Suncoastprotection@gmail.com and tell us what you would like done. We will respond within a reasonable period and will not charge you or treat you differently for asking.

Because we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, there is no “sale” or “targeted advertising” opt-out to give you. Requests about information held by Square — card details, booking history — are best sent to Square directly, and we will help where we can.

Children

Our services are sold to vehicle owners and this website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Payment card data is handled entirely by Square on Square's PCI-compliant systems and never touches our website or our computers.

We keep enquiry email and job records on password-protected accounts and share them with no one outside the shop. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so please do not email us anything you would not want sitting in an inbox — and we will never ask you for card numbers by email or text.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change — for example if we ever add a contact form or an analytics tool — we will update this page and change the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be described plainly rather than buried. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
